Chinese-Japanese Japan-born infant (less than 3 months)

Hello, I was wondering what documents, if different from the ones needed for a Japanese national, are required for an infant born within the last 3 months, whose father is Japanese and whose mother is Chinese (has a Zairyu Card) applying for an S1 visa along with the mother to join the father who will soon work in China? Thank you in advance!

If you have Japanese permanent Zairyu Card, your kid needs to apply for a visa to enter PRC and you can apply for an S1 type for the kid.
But if you don’t have Japanese permanent Zairyu Card, you just need to apply for a Chinese travel document and the kid can enter PRC.
