Single Entry/ Multiple Entry Visa

Hi, I am an Australian citizen. My girlfriend and I are going to visit her family in China. And we plan to go Guangzhou first, will stay in Hong Kong/Macau few days. Then go back to Guangzhou again. What type of Visa should I apply? Do I need a Single entry visa or Multiple?

For your first entry, if you fly to HK or Macau within 72 hours, the entry permit is not needed. In this case, you only need a single entry. Otherwise, you will need a double-entry permit.
