About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

I am writing on behalf of my Chinese wife, we moved to UK 01/08/2015

she has settlement visa in her passport from 26/01/2015 expires 26/10/2017 but her passport expires 17/07/2017 so looking for information how we get new passport & my wifes visa put into new passport.
I am UK expat but lived in China many years.

She should first prepare the relevant documents to renew her passport: her passport and copy of its data page with her photo, the application form, her residence permit in UK, and 3 passport photos. And then submit the application to the embassy of PRC to renew the passport.
After getting the new passport, she can go to the relevant authorities to deal with the entry permit issues.
