About:China Student Visa

Residence permit for X2 student visa holder

Hi!

Can you please suggest me if I can apply for residence permit with X2 short-term student entry permit? I need to apply for a Schengen entry permit from China, and in order to do so I need residence permit. However I am not sure I am eligible to one.

Anara, you cannot apply for the residence permit if you hold X2 type.
