Previous Chinese Visa and where to lodge for non-nz passport holder

Hi,
I have applied for a Chinese Visa before, when I was younger, as part of a tour group. Do I still need to declare this in the application form? Ihave lost my passport that contained the Chinese visa as it has been a long time ago, more than 15 years. Also, i'm a non-NZ passport holder living in Christchurch, where should I lodge my visa application, in Christchurch or Wellington? Many thanks.

-Z, Christchurch

Zenda, I’m afraid you need to declare that in the application form.
You should submit your application form at the consulate general of PRC in Christchurch.
