About:China Visa

I have an Australian passport with a 30 day Chinese holiday visa.

Hi,
I just went to the pudong embassy to extend the entry permit but they advise me you cannot extend holiday entry permit in PRC now. The only suggestion they gave me was to go to hk to try extend. Has anyone tried this and what is the success rate? Was it easy? How long does it take to process application? Thanks

If so, you can go to HK to re-apply for a new one and you have 50% chance to get it. Usually, 4 working days are needed for the processing after you submit the application.
