About:Changchun Transportation

Distances and transport traveling in China

We are thinking about the following route: Changsha - Loudi/Ziquejie - Xinning/Langshan(Danxia-Bajiaozhai) - Fenghuan- CS. I'm not sure about the distances and how to get to these places, there is not much to find on the internet. Flights would go either to Beijing or Shanghai an then via overnight train to CS.

We are travelling with children. How long should we stay in each area to have it easy going?

1. To Ziquejie: the distance is about 160 miles (260km). You can take a bus to Xinhua from South Bus Station. The buses are available from 7:50 to 20:20, and the fare is CNY76. Upon arrival, take a bus to Ziquejie Rice Terraces. You may spend two days there.
2. To Langshan Mountain: the distance is about 127 miles (204km). You can take a bus from Ziquejie back to Xinhua first. Then, take a bus to Xinning (about 5 hours). Upon arrival, take a bus to Langshan. You may spend two or three days there.
3. To Fenghuang Ancient City: the distance is about 174 miles (280km). Take a bus to Xinning from Langshan. Next, take a bus to Huaihua South Bus Station (about 4 hours). Upon arrival, take a taxi to Huaihua West Bus Station for about CNY 20. Afterwards, take a bus to Fenghuang. You may spend three days there.
4. To CS: the distance is about 267 miles (430km). You can take a direct bus from Fenghuang (about 5 to 6 hours).
