Kangaroo Skin/Fur taken into China

I am going to CN to see some of our suppliers and want to take them something quintessentially Australian and i was thinking of taking them a Kangaroo Fur/Skin. I have two questions
1. Is this culturally appropriate?
2. Is this allowed by Chinese Customs?

Alexander, it is accepted to send animal fur or skin as a gift. But you still need to find out if there are Buddhism belivers in your suppliers, for they may consider it a sin.
You should be required to get a quarantine approval document before you leave your country and show it at the PRC customs.
