Powdered sauces and dried foods in luggage.

I'm visiting my son who is missing his favorite dishes!
Does anybody know if I'm allowed to take packets of Chilli con Carne and Piri Piri powder into China and dried powdered sauces in general? Thanks.

I heard that meat products are not allowed to enter the country. You'd better not take Chili con Carne. Self-use amount of Piri Piri powder should pass the customs and is required to be packed in the check-in luggage.
