About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

American passport from Iran with emirates airline

I called the airline and they say if you dont have visa they don't board me, I want to stay 72 hour in Guangzhou then take boat or plane to Hong Kong.

Nima, if you travel by flight from Guangzhou to HK, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou but you need to provide Guangzhou to HK air ticket when you board the plane in Iran.
