About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

My son damaged my passport with my unused chinese visa in it.

I was wondering if i need to reapply with my new entry permit, or if i can get a replacement entry permit with my new passport as its still valid..

If you have a new passport and the details between the old and new passport are the same.
And the entry permit in the old passport is not damaged. Then travel with both passports and show both passports at Entry and the should be OK. You can also call your airline customer service and they should be able to assist you with this question as well.

The only thing that is different is the passport number
