About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

My plan is to arrive in Bejing on 19.Sept 2016 at 01:15 and leave there on 22.Sept. at 02:15

My plan as an Australian passport holder is to arrive in Beijing on 19.Sept 2016 at 01:15 and leave there on 22.Sept. at 02:15, just over 72 hours on the ground. I check in at say 00:00 midnight less than 72 hours. Do I get visa free entry?

Vasilij, you can make use of the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.

Thanks for that positive reply.
It appears that midnight of the arrival date is the time the 72 hours start to be counted; not the time of arrival. Is this correct? That means my 72 hours would start to be counted at 00:00 20.September
