You give some great advice so I thought you might be able to help me please. I am going to be a bridesmaid for my Chinese friends wedding in China and would like some tips please on what to expect, what the bridesmaid duties are and what I am expected to provide as a wedding gift. I have read a lot about Chinese weddings, but I haven't found much about bridesmaid duties. If you could offer some advice I would appreciate it. I think it will be a fairly modern wedding with traditional elements as well. ThanksClaire

The bridesmaid is a special staff accompanying the bride during the wedding. The most important duty for the bridesmaid is to look after the personal belongings of the bride, especially those that should be used during the wedding, such as rings, bouquet, and cosmetics.
