is there any village nearby for rural life?

I am going to Xian next month, besides the main attractions, we also intend to visit some other places like Dangjiacun, we would like to stay with local families there and experience rural life. Is it feasible or is there any other village recommended?

It takes around 3.5 hours' one-way transfer from XA city to Dangjia village. If you want to experience rural life, you may also consider visiting another interesting village - Donghan village, which is famous for Chinese peasant painting. This village is near to XA city, so one day is enough to visit it and back to the city.
