About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

i have a residency permit but my dorm registration ended a month ago

I haven't registered to a new apartment and im waiting till my new uni opens. Would i be in trouble for not registering for a month? I have lived here for 5 years.

It doesn't matter. As long as your residence permit is valid, you can still live in China.

Thank you for replying. One last question.I'm planning on registering new when i move into a new apartment next month. Would i run into any trouble for not registering as soon as my dorm registration ended. I'm staying in my friend's room for now nut im plannong on moving into a new apartment next month.
