About:Marriage Registration in China

Divorce and remarry

I will be divorcing chinese national and want to remarry chinese national. Do I need single status affidavit if I have chinese divorce book? Do I need to have US consulates office notorize single status? Trying to find answers......thanks!

You need to provide both single status affidavit and divorce book. The single status certificate needs to be attested by the consulate general of PRC in US.

So I need divorce in China, return to USA have single status notorized then return to China to get married?
There is no way to get all this done while in China?
