About:China Customs Declaration

Is it allowed to bring sweets, chocolate, other edible products to China? How about wooden object?

You can take snacks such as sweets and chocolate into the country for self use. But meat or milk products are not allowed to enter. Make sure you are not taking this kind of food.

I heard that wooden products made of precious timbers are fobidden to pass the customs. And it may require quarantine. If you are going to take this kind of products, you'd better give up that thought. For commonly-see small wooden products, you can take it pass the customs with a declaration.

I know that milk products are not allowed but milk chocolate is ok though?

Ok...no wooden objects...have to bring some other Finnish design to Chinese friends.
