Foreign affairs attestation

Sir can you please tell me that I've invited by a Chinese hospital for a conference and I've received invitation letter from hospital.
I had received my police report as well as medical fitness certificate from chinese lab.
Please tell me should I attest my documents from foreign affairs before going to embassy or not..
Please tell me asap...
