About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

i'm in china on my business "M" type! and me and my gf we want to get married

so can we get marry on my M type ? and as soon as we got married and register our marriage , how can i get the Spouce visa ? do i have to leave china first or i can convert my current M type to Q type?
please advise thx

Noni, you can get married on business M type.
You can try to apply for a Q type after you get married. You should first provide these materials: your passport, the application form, a passport-sized color photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from your wife, and copy of her Chinese ID card, as well as your marriage certificate. Afterwards, submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to convert M type to Q type.

can you please tell me what is this " Valid Registration form of temporary residence" ?
actually me and my gf we get apartment in liwan district ( guangzhou ) and we live there on rent , so what do i have to do to get Registration for temporary residence ?

please advise thx

Noni, Valid Registration form of temporary residence is a form you fill out at the local police station after you enter PRC and you can get it from the police station.
