visa free transit?

Hello, I am travelling from Osaka Kansai to Taipei via Beijing, and from Taipei to Osaka Kansai via Shanghai. Both transits will be around 16 hours in between arrival and the next departure.

I am holding a Philippine passport.

Am I eligible for the 24hr free transit program? and what requirements should be presented?

Thanks

Hi there! If so, you can use the 24 hour direct transit for your stopover in Beijing and Shanghai. You don’t need to provide any entry permit. You just need to take your passport, the onward ticket and valid entry permit for Taipei and Japan.
