changing q2 visa to z type

Hello,I am married to a Chinese Citizen and while visiting I was able to find employment. So I was wondering is there any way I can change my Q2 type to a Z type without having to exit China?

James, it’s possible for you to change Q2 type to work Z type within PRC. After preparing all the required documents for work Z type, you can submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to change it.
