Single Flight?

Can I get an L visa for 30 days and then book a single flight as I don't know exactly when I will leave yet or am I required to buy a return ticket?

Dan, usually, you need to provide round trip air tickets before you apply for it. But if you have a friend in PRC who can issue an invitation letter to you, you don’t need to provide round trip air tickets.
