About:China Train

When are train tickets available ?

Next year, I would like to travel on the Trans-Siberian railway, from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk, and from there to Beijing. After a few days in the Chinese capital I would then like to take the rail to Lhasa. Could you please tell me how long before travelling I can buy these tickets. The more time there is, the easier it would be to arrange the necessary Russian, Mongolian and Chinese visas. Thank you.

Daniel Parsons.

The Beijing-Lhasa trip usually begin for sell 60 days within the departure date. I am not clear about the trip of Moscow-Krasnoyarsk-Beijing, but the vice versa from Beijing to Moscow can be booked since 60 days (for group i think, individual seems 30 days). The paper ticket, however, usually will be issued around 10 days in advance only. I suppose it works the same for the Moscow-Krasnoyarsk-Beijing trip.
