boat trip from Guilin to Yangshuo

Hello,
I will go to Guilin next month and I have some questions.
We will arrive at GL Airport in the morning and I'd like to take directly boat from GL to Yangshuo as we will sleep in Yangshuo the 1st night.
Is it possible to take bamboo boat for the 4 hour cruise from GL to Yangshuo? Or is it only big boats? Is it possible to take bamboo boat with our luggage?
