About:China Visa Exemption

Will we require a visa for this short period ?

My wife & myself are on a cruise next year which makes a call into Shanghai arriving & leaving on the same day. We hope to go ashore for the day probably on an organised tour.

Robert, maybe you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai if you will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from after staying for one day in Shanghai. But you are advised to confirm that with the cruise company.
