Coffee Beans taken into China

Hi I am visiting some friends in your country soon and they have asked me to bring some roasted coffee beans with me. Is this allowed?

Taking reasonable amount of roasted coffee beans is allowed. And you need to declare it at the customs. The tax rate is 15%.
