What is the best and fastest way to get from Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) to Xi'an?

Is the best way to go via Hefei?

Please advise.

Direct flight from Tunxi Airport (the nearest one from the mountain) to Xian is available. This can be the best and fastest way to go. However, if you wanna go by train, undoubtly Hefei is the best transfer site.
