Sheraba, based on what I know, the 144 hour free transit is only carried out in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, so one cannot travel to other places such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai when he/she use the 144 hour free transit. So the text is not true.
