do not have passport for ex-spouse for minor child

I am traveling to China on an L-type with my minor child and husband. My ex-husband is my child's father. He does not have a passport. Will that keep my child from getting a visa? And how do I document that on the form so that it will not delay getting the L type?

Jessica, usually, if your ex-husband can provide a consent letter and copy of his identity card, your child can apply for the L type. Don’t worry!
