About:Mutianyu Great Wall

Which is a better option with wheelchair: Badaling or Mutianyu?

I use wheelchair, but I'm able to walk a bit. I've read that Badaling and Mutianyu are both wheelchair friendly, but I'm not sure which one allows me to see more and roll with my wheelchair once I'm up in the wall. Which is a better option considering I will go on thursday 25th August?

Both sections are good choices and have barrier-free access, cable cars, and pulley to make the trip easier. But I personally suggest you visit Badaling, for it is the most famous Wall section of the country. You will definitely see great views there.

You may know both sections have many steps, so you need to take the cable car with your wheelchair to the flat terrace. Then move around to see the scenery. But Badaling has lift too. I also remember there is a gentle slope at the section which will add fun to your trip. So make your own decision!
