About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

no transit

does the 144hr visa hold for someone who is only flying in to Shanghai for several days and then back to where they came from?

You must fly out from Shanghai to a different country, otherwise you cannot enjoy the 144-hour free transit policy.
