clarification on personal id/residence permit

hi im married to a canadian citizen who is working in china this year, i am applying an s1 visa in the Philippines and I just wanna  ask what kind of personal id they are referring to, does passpport is good for this requirement? because my husband is still applying for the residence permit. thank you

I think personal id means your husband’s residence permit in PRC and your husband can get it when he enter PRC. Passport cannot be used as the proof of personal id.
