About:Guangzhou Attractions

I will be in Macao for 3 days in Sept. I am interested to extend my visit to Guangzhou & Guilin.

How to get to these two places from Macao and what are the schedules and the duration of the travelling time Macao - GZ - Guilin and back to Macao airport?

How much time do I need to allocate to visit interesting places in GZ and Gulin? Your advise and feedbacks will be most appreciated.

Hey, you can stay in GZ for two days and a whole day in Guilin.
From Macao, you should go to the Border Gate. Cross the border to Zhuhai Gongbei. Then walk to Zhuhai Railway Station to catch a train to GZ within an hour. The bullt trains are available from 07:00 to 22:45 with over 30 schedules daily. I recommend the Chimelong Resort, Pearl River Cruise, Canton Tower and Beijing Road to you.

At the South Railway Station, take a bullet train to Guilin in 3h. The schedules are 07:20 - 20:30 (u'd better arrive one night before). The Li River Cruise and Yangshuo West Street as well as the Impression Sanjie Liu performances are must-try.

To get back, you can also take a train to GZ first and transfer to another one to Zhuhai. Then cross the border and take a taxi or local bus to Macao Airport.
