About:Hong Kong Airport Express

Is there any group discount for Round trip tickets?

We are a group of 4 people who will be staying in HK for 3 days only and wish to purchase the single trip Airport express ticket with the return option if possible.

My understanding from the fares above is that if we are 4 people, the total cost for the single trip AE ticket would be $280 only?
making it $70 bucks only per person. Is there a deposit amount there like the regular single trip tickets?

Our Hotel is in Tsim Tsa Tsui Area We will be using the MTR for travelling around the city, we plan to go to Victoria Peaks the first day and Lantau Island the second day, will we be able to use the 3 days MTR unlimited travel for these destinations??

Any Suggestions for things to do in Tsim Tsa Tsui are for half a day? we were planning to do the ferry, the Avenue of Stars, Wanchai Night Market maybe
Are we also able to use the tickets for local buses?

2nd day early morning to Lantau Islands and later in the afternoon to Ladies Market and later at night to the Lan Kwai Fong Area.

Please let me know, Thanks

Dear Jimmy, the group of 4 ticket costs HKD 280 between HKIA and HK Station; HKD 250 between HKIA and Kowloon Station; HKD 170 between HKIA and Tsing Yi Station. The return trip costs the same. The AE train tickets have no deposit, as well as the group tickets.

I am sorry that you can not use the group ticket to use the 3 days unlimited ride. If you want to use the 3 days unlimited ride, you can buy AE Travel Pass with one/two single journeys for HKD 250/350. The AE Travel Pass provides no discount for group travellers.

You may arrange your itinerary this way:
Day 1: take the ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central- the Peak- A Symphony of Lights Show- Wanchai Night Market (Avenue of Stars is closed for renovation currently)
Day 2: Big Buddha& Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island- Ladies Market- Lan Kwai Fong

I am sorry that the group ticket is not applicable on local buses, either. You can buy Standard Octopus Cards, which can be used on MTR, Light Rail, buses, ferries, taxis, trams, etc.. Each adult needs to pay HKD 50 as the refundable deposit, and HKD 100 as the stored value. Each child aged 3 to 11 needs to pay HKD 50 as the refundable deposit, and HKD 20 as the stored value.

There are many other places, like Ocean Park, Causeway Bay, Temple Street Night Market, Aberdeen, Disneyland Resort, Tai O Fishing Village, and Stanley Market.

On Day One, maybe you can go to Ocean Park before visiting the Peak. On Day 2, you can go to Causeway Bay after Ladies Market. Have a wonderful trip! :)
