About:Embassy of Cameroon in China

I'm on a student visa x1, can i get married in china with a chinese local

and get a family visa without leaving china? and how many years can it be valid

If you are pursuing your bachelor degree in PRC, I’m afraid you cannot get married if you haven’t finished your study.
If you are doing the master degree in PRC, you can marry a Chinese local and get the family Q type without leaving PRC. Usually, you can get the one-year residence permit if you apply for the Q1 type, and you can extend your residence permit if you want to stay longer.

so are you telling me only someone with master degree can get married to a chinese citizen?, i don't think SO

Dear, I mean if you are an undergraduate student, according to the relevant regulation, you cannot get married during the study period.
But if you are a graduate pursing your master degree, you can get an academic certificate to get married during your study period.

im studying chinese language,it's not a degree program nor certificate. I'm just studying to know how to speak,i already have a bachelor degree from my country
