How long should I spend in the Summer Palace?

How long should I spend in the Summer Palace? We would like to spend long time there. Which gate do I use?

Usually it takes 2 to 3 hours to visit the Summe Palace, you may stay longer there if you like. You can enter the park from East Gate.
