About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Fuzhou transit visa

I'm an Australian citizen travelling with my wife and five kids. We are two weeks out from our flight from Beijing to Sydney with a 5 hour transit in Fuzhou (our flight originates in Krasnoyarsk, Russia).

I just discovered we might need a transit G type (a friend of mine just got stuck in Shenzhen airport without an entry permit).

Does anybody have experience flying through Fuzhou? Is a transit G type required?

We're flying Xiamen Airlines. But we might be getting a ticket refund instead.
Thanks!

Brett, as you stop over two Chinese cities, you are only eligible for the 24-hour direct transit policy. If the total transit time is less than 24 hours, you can use it. If the time is longer, you should apply for a G type prior to your trip.

Yes you need a transit G visa as Fuzhou, Shenzhen and Yanji don´t allow a visa free transit.
