can i book a ticket in progress from daocheng to shangrila?

I will arrive to DC from  Kangding on 29th october,after that I will buy the ticket to Shangrila on 2nd November suddenly.Can I do that?I have limited time,So I need to go that day.If I can't,please suggest me another way.Thanks in progress.😢

Yes, you can buy the bus ticket on the spot upon. The trip takes about 11 to 12 hours by the way. Or, you can share a van with others to Shangri-la. The fare may be around CNY 1600 to 1800 per van. Good luck! :)
