Can you please advise which tourist visa do I need

Hi I am visiting Beijing and Shanghai from a cruise ship in October and then backpacking SE Asia returning to backpack in PRC within the next 6 months. I am an Australian passport holder.

If so, you are advised to apply for a single entry tourist L type to enter PRC each time.
You can apply for it in a SE Asia country when you return to PRC.
