About:Chengdu Shuangliu Airport

I will be staying at Chengdu Holiday Inn Oriental Plaza.

And I wish to go from Shuangliu Airport to my hotel by Shuttle Bus or Airport Bus, then take Subway Line 2 to Dongmendaqiao, the station nearest to my Hotel.

Can someone advise me whether I should take Airport Bus 300 or Shuttle No 2 from the Airport T1 South to Tianfu Metro Station? Which one is faster?

Yes, you may take shuttle bus line 2 to Tianfu Square, and change to subway line 2 to Dongmendaqiao Station, Exit C.
Or, you can take bus line 300 from the airport to Hong Zhao Bi Station, and walk north for about 500 yards to Tianfu Square Station. Then, take metro line 2 to Dongmendaqiao Station, Exit C.

The first mode is transport is faster because the bus has fewer stops along the way. :)
