baiyun airport to guangzhou east railway station

Question

My flight will arrive Guangzhou Baiyun at 14.35 in september and wonder 1. if I am able to take a train no D7517 at 16.34 to Puning at Guang Zhou East Railway station on time?2. What method is the most efficient from the airport to east railway station? 3. What time should we arrive the railway station in advance to get ticket?Thank you

In fact, the time seems a little limited. Fromthe airport, you may take subway line 3 directly to the east station which usually needs about 1 hour. See from your arival time, you may only have about 0min for the ticket collection to Puning. This website suggest travelers to arrive at the station about 90min in advance for the collection and boarding. It may be better to choose a later ride to Puning.
