Visiting Shenzhen on 22 Oct 2016 is the port Visa Luo wu open in that date??

Hallo iam from Indonesia would like visiting in shenzhen and coming from hongkong, so my planing is we will go through in luo wu port using MTR from hongkong And get VOA on Luo Wu port. After reading so many blog telling about shenzhen port especially in luo wu port, that if there a festival or a big holiday in china that port also close. My question is on 22 October 2016 is that port in Luo wo are open?? I am already book for hotel reservation on that date and if suppose that date the port close i can still reschadule my reservation before its too late. thank you
