Travel with new passport with Visa in old passport (which has run out of pages)

My multiple entry China visa in my old passport has not expired but I have a new passport as the old one has run out of pages. Can I use my new passport and the China visa in the old passport to enter China?

If the information on both of your passports is the same, you can travel by holding two passports.
