About:Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh

do my husband and i require a visa travelling to the undernoted desinations

flying to shanghai from scotland via paris to shanghai picking up cruise ship sailing to okinawa, hong kong, hue/danang(chan may), vietnam and signapore

Alison, if your husband holds UK passport and stay in Shanghai for not exceeding 144 hours, he can enjoy the 144 hour free transit there. No entry permit is needed then.
