Tourist Visa for Indian Passport holder

Hi, I need to apply visa for my mum to travel Guangzhou, Hongkong and Macau. I am travelling from Australia (on Australian Passport) to India via Guangzhou and taking 7 days stay in Guangzhou transit and intend to go out to see Guangzhou, Honkong and Macau. I want my mother from India (currently residing in India on Indian passport) to join me and travel with me. Please let me know the process to apply (Intend to apply on our own not via agent) and also what type of entry permit does she need? Single entry/double entry or multiple entry as Guangzhou, Hongkong and Macau are considered different countries.

Kiran, because of the free-entry bilateral agreements between HK/Macau and India/Australia, you don't need to apply for the entry permit for Macau and HK. Only the entry permit for Guangzhou is required. Both of you should apply for a tourist L type. First of all, prepare all documents, including your passports, passport copies, applications, recent bare-headed photos, and round-trip tickets and hotel reservations. Then go to the CVASC office to submit the application.

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for the reply. Can you please help me identify if I travel from Guangzhou to Hong Kong, is that considered international departure? If these are considered different countries. I am trying to establish if I need to apply for Double entry Chinese visa.
