About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Hi! I applied for my new residence permit and left China.

Initially, I thought I could send my passport to China via EMS or DHL, stamp my new residence permit, and my new employer will send it back to me. Then I come to PRC again, but now it's impossible to send my passport from Russia to PRC due to some regulations at Chinese customs. Can I still enter PRC with the paper they gave me at Bureau of Exit and Entry? Or how can I enter PRC legally? I'm officially employed and my new residence permit will be ready on August 2. Thank you !

If your residence permit has expired, you need to apply for a new work Z type to enter PRC and apply for a new residence permit.
But if it doesn’t expire, you can sue it to enter PRC and renew it as soon as you go there.
