About:Hong Kong Travel Tips

Arriving into Hong Kong on 19th Dec for 3 days.

Would like to go to Lantau to the Buddha, The Peak, downtown HK, night markets. We depart via Ship from HK.
Which district is best to stay in, is MRT best mode of transport, and what is best way to get from HK airport with luggage and then to Cruise terminal?

Many thanks

You are advised to stay near MTR Central Station, so that you can easily get to these places. The Landmark Mandarin Oriental HK Hotel is highly recommended. It is located at No. 15, Queen's Road Center, and is adjacent to Exit G, MTR Central Station. You can book a room by dialing 00852-21320188.

MTR is very convenient for you. By the way, you are advised to buy a Standard Octopus Card, with which you can ride on Airport Express, MTR, buses, taxis, trams, etc. By the way, to get the card, you need to pay HKD 50 as the refundable deposit, and HKD 100 as the stored value.

From HKIA to the downtown area, you can take Airport Express Line. Or you can travel by shuttle bus. To the cruise terminal, you may travel by bus. :)
