About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Do I need to know the exact date for my last visa that was issued?

They asked me for the place and date my last visa was issued which I do not remember the exact date and I lost my old passport.

Thanks!

Dear, when you apply for a new visa, the previous visa information is needed. That’s why copy of your passport used pages is needed. It is used for a reference, so you don’t need to provide the detailed information, just provide approximate date.
