About:Dress Code in China

I wlll be visiting China the first half of September. Should I wear white slacks?

What about the weather around Beijing and Shanghai? More summer arttire with possible rain gear and sweater for cooler nights?

The average temperature of the two cities is 65~80F during that period of time. T-shirts, thin jackets, and slacks are suitable. The climate will be cool and comfortable.
Rain gears are also very necessary when visiting Shanghai.
