One day trip to Mt. Qingcheng and Jinsha site

Do you think our visit to Mt. Qingcheng and Jinsha site would be too much to do in one day?

Based on my experience, it is not too much for you to visit Mt. Qingcheng and Jinsha Site Museum in one day. For your information, usually it takes around 1.5 hours to drive from downtown to Mt. Qingcheng per single way. 2.5 hours is enough for you to visit the mountain by using the cable car. And the visiting time in Jinsha Site Museum is around 1.5 hours.
